The MARE STARTUP, resulting from the joint venture between the Faculdade de Ciências da ULisboa, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the Sociedade de Avaliação Estratégia e Risco and the Fórum Oceano – Associação da Economia do Mar, aims to be the reference program within the creation of startups and business innovation in science and technology base in the sea area.

It is based on a 360-degree engagement: education, research, business, government and society, contributing to revitalize and accelerate the Portuguese sea economy.
