About the MARE STARTUP

The MARE STARTUP is an entrepreneurship program and support business innovation in the Sea area.

This initiative aims to encourage performance in theme of the sea, emerging as a program of encouragement to the creation of new business and business innovation in the sector, promoting the brand MARE STARTUP with international visibility in the context of Blue Growth.

The program will be created collaboratively, involving from the beginning a set of stakeholders associated with the sea, and giving them a central role in the creation and facilitation of processes.

Be the reference program within the creation of startups and business innovation in science and techonology in the maritime area.

Mission

Contribute to revitalize and accelarate the Portuguese maritime economy through startups and business innovation initiatives supported by sharing knowledge, by providing means and facilitating procedures, resulting from a 360-degree engagement: education, research, business, governance and society.

Objetive
